Who We Are
We are a research and policy lab based in Los Angeles that specializes in youth homelessness. Our mission is to bolster the capacity of our community through data-driven insights, and foster a platform that transforms strategic communication into action. We believe that a community and its systems, when reflective of and responsive to young people's experiences (i.e. bringing young people to the front), will ultimately bring us closer to making youth homelessness rare and brief.
How do we accomplish our mission?
YP2F operates at the intersection of three key focus areas: research, network cultivation and new media. These three focus areas lead to systems change where community systems become more reflective of youth experiences, services and policies become more responsive to actual youth needs, resources are allocated more effectively based on evidence, and collaboration replaces fragmentation across youth-serving systems.
